Autumn News

July 8, 2012

Here in Virginia, it takes longer for the leaves to change colors, but already it’s growing cooler outside. The children are playing soccer, and I’m hard at work on new books. I will have three new releases in the coming months–lots of new stories to share! The first is a MacEgan Christmas anthology of three intertwined stories about the children of the MacEgan Brothers. Liam, Rhiannon, and Brianna will all have their stories in Warriors in Winter. It is already available in Germany under the title Historical Weihnachtsband 005. It will be available November 13, 2012, in stores and online in the U.S. and the first week of December in the UK. The e-book version will be out on December 1st.

The next story available will be The Accidental Prince, the sequel to The Accidental Princess. I always wanted to write a story for Karl von Lohenberg, and his book will be available February 19th in stores and March 1st in e-book form.

Last, is Undone by the Duke, my very first single-title Regency, coming from Amazon Montlake. I’d always wanted to write a longer book, and this one is 1/3 longer than all the other books I’ve written. It’s about an agoraphobic heroine who hasn’t left the house in five years and a duke who lands on her doorstep. It will be available in print and e-book format on February 12, 2013, just in time for Valentine’s Day! It will be a quartet of books, linked by the series name Secrets in Silk.

At the moment, I am working on three different projects. First, I’m working on Unraveled by the Rebel, book two in the Secrets in Silk series. I’m also working on a story for Dougal MacKinloch (tentatively titled Rescued by the Highland Warrior) that will be in an anthology, available in May 2013. Last, I’m writing book 2 in a Viking series that will begin next September 2013. I’ve been very busy–can you tell?!

The family is doing well, and the children are enjoying school. My youngest son is in kindergarten, and he constantly entertains me with information he’s learning. Last night, I blinked when he asked, “Mom, where did I come from?” I quickly answered, “The hospital.” Then he shook his head and said, “No, Mom, I mean what store did you buy me from?” 🙂

At the end of next month, I’ll be participating in the Harlequin Historical Advent Calendar. Look for daily giveaways from our authors and a grand prize of a Kindle Fire (or equivalent value Kindle)!

If you’d like to be e-mailed whenever I have a new release out, please scroll down to the bottom of this page and enter your e-mail address in the box after the word Newsletter. I only send out occasional newsletters during a new release month.

Sending out very best wishes to all of you!
